Support self-care for good mental health

Suggested Actions

Promote simple self-care approaches that support mental health such as mindfulness, relaxation techniques or apps, music for relaxation
Provide access to information and resources that support mental wellbeing such as nutrition and healthy sleep
Make time for self-care in the working day and support people to build it into their routines

Possible options of self-care can be taking regular breaks and short mindfulness, relaxation exercises and having clear boundaries around working time such as protected break times or switching off at the end of the day

Signpost staff to tools, apps and services that support self-care and mental wellbeing
